It seems clear that Apple and AT&T have decided to allow users to tether their iPhones to their laptops, something users have been crying out for since the first iPhones were released.
Well, maybe. Just three weeks ago AT&T said they were waiting for better network performance before implementing iPhone tethering. So it’s unclear whether dialing 611 will actually get you to a person who can switch tethering support on.
